Bollywood on-screen character maker Abhay Deol pummeled decency cream promotions, highlighting stars like Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and a few different celebs in ‘reference to a remark made by a government official on TV’.
Though he didn’t name the politician, he may have been taking a swipe at BJP MP Tarun Vijay, who told Al Jazeera last week, “If we were racist, why would we have all the entire south… why do we live with them if we are racist? We have black people around us.”
Following the remarks, Abhay Deol posted a series of fairness cream campaigns on Facebook on Wednesday and criticised Bollywood stars, including his ‘Aisha’ and ‘Raanjhanaa’ co-star Sonam Kapoor, for endoring the products.
In light of Abhay Deol’s post, Sonam Kapoor dragged his cousin Esha Deol into the contention by indicating out that she, as well, has promoted decency creams.
Sonam Kapoor, in any case, was trolled for her answers and the performing artist erased her tweets after the web-based social networking shock.
